Founded in 1912, the headquarters for Liberty Mutual Insurance has long dominated the block between Stuart St. and St. James Avenue on Berkeley Street.  In 2011 they began construction on an expansion which would ultimately connect their existing campus to a new 22-st

ory tower.  Designed by CBT Architects, the building sits on the corner of Berkeley St. and Columbus Ave, and vaguely resembles the Flatiron building due to its triangular façade.

Join us for a tour of the public spaces of this new Boston landmark with the lighting designers from Lam Partners, as well as the project architect.  We will start the tour in the new conference center, and then walk across the lighted glass pedestrian bridge that spans Stuart Street to the new cafeteria, server, and lobby, and conclude the tour in front of the stainless steel abstract sculpture created by artist Mia Pearlman.
